DAY 1 | SANTIAGO
Arrival to Santiago where we will be met and transferred to our hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Tonight we have a Welcome dinner. Overnight at our hotel in Santiago (D)
DAY 2 | SANTIAGO | VALPARAISO
We will start the day with a journey through the historic, commercial and residential suburbs. See the courtyards of the Government Palace, historic center with Plaza de Armas (Main Square), Cathedral, Main Post Office and Town Hall. We will walk down the main streets of the city, such as Forest Park and San Cristobal Hill. Next, we will be taken to the Bohemian neighborhood of Bellavista. See the modern commercial and residential areas, sectors that reach the slopes of the Andes. New neighborhoods such as Santa Maria de Manquehue, Vitacura, Las Condes, El Golf and El Bosque are mixed with modern architecture. Continue to the colorful city of Valparaiso, with its enchanting hills, magnificent views of the bay, picturesque paintings and Valparaiso's incredible architecture of colorful houses. DAY 3 | VALPARAISO
Today, we will take a winery tour in the beautiful Chilean Valleys, visiting some vineyards that offer high quality wines and products. This region is ideal for those of us who want to get to taste a wide variety of wines from Chile.
We will enjoy lunch with local specialties and a wine tasting session. Overnight at our hotel in Valparaiso. (B,L)
DAY 4 | VALPARAISO | MENDOZA
After breakfast, we begin our drive to Mendoza. Upon arrival, we will have a city tour beginning with the historical area where Don Pedro del Castillo founded the city in 1561. This is where the Founding Square, museum and the Jesuitical ruins of the city, attributable to the earthquake of 1861, are located. Then, we will see the cathedral, San Francisco’s Basilica, old Mortgages’ Bank (now Ministry of Culture and Tourism) and the many others interesting sites of this fascinating city. To conclude, we will be taken to the Sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin of Lourdes. From there, we will enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding the city. Lunch at a local restaurant.

DAY 5 | MENDOZA
We will dedicate the day to discovering the fascinating world of wine! First, we will learn the origin of the wine industry in this city. It is now the area in which the local economy is mostly based.
Visiting a winery, we will learn about the wine making and cultivation of the vineyard processes. We will then visit another winery. Enjoy lunch featuring a gourmet menu accompanied by local wine. Overnight at our hotel in Mendoza. (B,L)
DAY 6 | MENDOZA
Today we will go to Norton Winery vineyard to participate in their innovative program "Winemaker for a Day." We will discover Malbec wine, the wine making process and wine shops.
Later, as a winemaker, we will select different wines to prepare a unique blend on our own. The panel will select a winner from all the wines prepared. For lunch, we will enjoy regional specialties accompanied by local wines at the winery. Overnight at our hotel in Mendoza. (B,L)
DAY 7 | MENDOZA | BUENOS AIRES
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport, in time to take the flight to Buenos Aires. Arrive and transfer to the hotel where we will leave our baggage.
Next, we will have a panoramic tour of this lively city, known as the “Paris of South America.”
Drive along Avenida 9 de Julio, the world’s largest boulevard, to get to Plaza de Mayo with the imposing Presidential Palace, Town Hall and other places of interest. We then visit the Tomb of Evita Perón at the Recoleta Cemetery. To conclude, stop at the historic Café Tortoni, considered by many as the finest example of the 19th century in Buenos Aires and selected as one of the ten most beautiful cafes in the world. Tonight, dinner and tango show at one of the city’s most famous clubs, La Ventana. Overnight at our hotel in Buenos Aires. (B,D)
DAY 8 | BUENOS AIRES | COLONIA DEL SACRAMENTO
After breakfast, transfer to the pier to take the ferry to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay.
After an approximately one hour voyage, we will take a tour of the city and have lunch at a local restaurant. Uruguay, as well as Argentina, is well known for the quality of their meat.
Colonia is a historic district that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995. There, we will notice the blending of Portuguese colonial style buildings and Spanish ones. Walking through its old streets, we will enjoy a beautiful atmosphere, wonderful views of the city and Rio de la Plata. Transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Montevideo. (B,L)
DAY 9 | MONTEVIDEO
Today, we will have the opportunity to visit two vineyards with contrasting methods of production. The first one is a historic winery, built around 1830 and modernized according its original characteristics. We will even be able to visit the underground cellars. The second vineyard is smaller and specializes in small-scale wine production. Great care is taken at every stage of the wine making process, from the vineyard to the glass. Enjoy a lunch of local products and a wine tasting session.
Tonight is our Farewell Dinner. Overnight at our hotel in Montevideo. (B,L,D)
DAY 10 | MONTEVIDEO | DEPARTURE
Check out of our hotel. We will have a tour of Montevideo, and its most important spots, as we walk through the tiny, colorful streets. This city has a lot to offer including: local markets, the Old City, the Gaucho Museum, traditional Port Market, the neighborhoods of Carrasco, Punta Gorda and Pocitos, and the lovely “Rambla” along the coastline. Notice a European architectonic style almost everywhere. Departure transfer to the airport.
