FAQ

Do you accept children on Isramworld tours

On many tours, we do accept children and offer children's discount. And, we recently have developed many family vacations with special prices for children. In some cases, and in some destinations, children should be over the age of eight. Of course, we can customize a tour, designed for your specific needs and the ages of the children.

What is included in your insurance?

We recommend that you purchase adequate and comprehensive insurance before departure. A comprehensive Travel Protection Plan offered by Trip Mate Insurance is available with all of our tour programs. The insurance covers the following: Accidental death and dismemberment: medical expense and emergency assistance; trip cancellation and interruption; trip delay; baggage loss and delay; 24 hour emergency assistance. Additional information will be sent with your initial invoice regarding costs according to your tour program. Click here to view detailed information.

Can I use my Frequent Flyer mileage to upgrade to Business Class or First Class when purchasing an Air & Land tour from Isramworld?

Since our Air & Land packages are based on special low-priced contract airfares, it is not possible to upgrade. However, please note that all of our tours indicate the amount of the "Land only" portion; you may purchase the land from us and then make arrangements for your own Frequent Flyer air ticket.

When is payment due for my tour? Do you have any cancellation fees?

Please see the General Information section in each destination brochure, which outlines the payment dates as well as the cancellation fees for each tour.

What is the difference between a brochure tour and a custom tour?

A brochure tour offers set departures, itineraries and prices based on group participation. A custom tour is designed to meet your special needs and interests. Often, this will include all of the features of a group tour, but usually tailored for smaller groups from 2-8 participants.

How much baggage can I take on flights? What about domestic flights within countries?

Long Haul International flights allow two checked bags per person with neither to exceed 62 inches or 50 pounds currently, plus one carry-on bag not to exceed 39”. Any excess is at the passenger’s own expense. Infants: No baggage permitted. For domestic flights in the USA, most airlines permit one piece of checked luggage and charge $25 for a second piece of checked luggage. Some airlines may impose additional charges if you choose to check any baggage. However, currently these charges do not apply to passengers who have purchased their domestic connecting flight on the same ticket as their international flight from/to the USA and are entitled to two checked pieces per person not exceeding 50lbs per piece. Weight restrictions on some routes on inter-country or international air flights may apply. Please contact your airline or refer to its website for detailed information regarding your airline’s checked baggage policies. Airline policies vary and may change at any time. LATOUR is not responsible for any excess luggage/weight charges levied by an airline.
Baggage insurance is highly recommended, as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged luggage or personal items. Only one suitcase per person is permitted on all motorcoach and private car tours.

Do you accept credit cards as deposits and payments for your brochure tours?

The following credit cards are accepted for deposits and full payments: Visa, Master Card, Discover Card and American Express

Where can I find information on Passports and Visas?

Every participant on an international tour required a passport valid for at least six months from the day of departure from the U.S. Additionally, many countries require a visa. Each individual destination brochure includes information on visa requirements.
